Exams connect the patients receiving care with the practice’s clinical oversight and documentation in our proprietary electronic medical record system. We do not offer standalone exams to outside organizations.

Common questions
Every clinical plan begins with the services, people and practice arrangements involved.
Talk through your questions →Start with the proposed services, each clinician’s Michigan license and the practice arrangement. Use LARA’s official licensing resources, then discuss entity structure, clinical authority and the actual work with qualified Michigan healthcare counsel.
Michigan distinguishes RN licensure and advanced-practice specialty certification. LARA’s nursing guidance also addresses prescribing authority. Review the individual’s credentials, treatment and practice setting rather than assuming that every nursing role has the same authority.
Yes. Exams are part of coordinated care within an established participating-practice relationship and are connected to clinical oversight and documentation in our proprietary EMR. Remote arrangements depend on the task, clinical needs, provider qualifications and applicable requirements.
MCL 333.16215 addresses selected tasks within the delegating professional’s scope, qualified individuals and supervision, with restrictions. It is not a blanket authorization for every service or staff member. Review the proposed task and current requirements.
Michigan has specific provisions for dermatological lasers, including supervision, patient consent and exceptions. Review the current statute and LARA’s laser guidance for the actual procedure and setting; one arrangement should not be assumed to cover every device or treatment.
LARA’s MiPLUS page links to the state’s license-verification service. Its professional licensing pages provide rules, licensing guidance and complaint resources. See Michigan Practice Resources for the official links.
The scope depends on your providers, treatments and documentation needs. Use the consultation form to request a discussion of services and pricing.
A consultation can address a change in medical direction, a new location or service, or a review of your current oversight plan. Availability and fit are assessed individually.
